The generic vanilla and chocolate protein powders are hardly exciting! That’s why I love this recipe for The Dating Almond Smoothie so much. It tastes more like a dessert than a breakfast, so drinking it never gets old!

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup pitted dates, roughly chopped
  • 1 tablespoon almond butter
  • 1 frozen banana
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk
  • 1 tablespoon (or one scoop) whey protein powder (We used Tera's Protein Powder, Low-Carb & Gluten Free)
